Reptile Rescue Orange County - RROC

                RROC History

RROC was founded in 2008 by Matt Kogler. In early 2010, Matt turned over the rescue and appointed Sam Makki to position of Director. Since then, this rescue has grown to include new members and other services.  This includes rattlesnake removal & relocation, educational presentations, birthday parties, habitat design & manufacturing, and boarding services.

We hope to continue growing and keep the support of the Orange County community.

       Non-Discrimination Statement & Policy

Reptile Rescue Orange County does not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status, in any of its activities or operations. These activities include, but are not limited to, hiring and firing of staff, selection of volunteers and vendors, and provision of services. We are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all members of our staff, clients, volunteers, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.

                      RROC Mission

Reptile Rescue Orange County is dedicated to providing the proper care and housing of reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates searching for a new home. RROC strives to be an educational cornerstone in the local community, and fully supports and believes in the right to responsibly keep and care for reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates.

While RROC does not directly affiliate itself with any specific group or organization, we support any group that is willing to work for the best interest of these incredible animals and their keepers.

RROC aims to provide the highest quality care and service to the community and animals in need.

            Future Plans for RROC

As an educational organization, RROC has plans of expanding the rescue to eventually include a reptile sanctuary/zoo. Our goal is to open a facility in Orange County where animals can live out their lives in natural surroundings, and where schools can plan field trips for the children free of charge. We want RROC to become a valued asset to this community, and an integral part of our childrens education, at the same time providing them with a hands on wildlife experience they will always remember!

This will only be possible with our community's support! We thank you!
